So I spent most of today working on encyclopedia entries. I finished revising John Grisham and started working on my first entirely original entry, Arrested Development. Right now, my brain is all a-clutter with facts like how many Emmys Arrested Development has won (answer: a lot, particularly for a show that only ran two and a half seasons) and that Holly Hunter was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in The Firm (which is a film I HATED, which is probably why I’d blocked the fact that Hunter, who I love, was in it). This really is one of the best writing jobs ever.
I’m leaving for a weekend trip tomorrow, so today I also officially started avoiding packing.
The good news about packing is that I never actually completely unpacked from my trip to California in October, so there’s already some stuff I need in the suitcase. So that’s a win. There’s even still a book in there. And, at the moment, a cat. What more could I want?

We’re almost done with season 3 of AD and it’s just as funny and brilliant as it was the first time I watched it. Season 3 is a disorganized mess, though.
