Yesterday I was working on the PowerPoint presentations for these homeschooling webinars I’ll be leading in a couple weeks. What’s very cool about them is that I get two hour-and-a-half sessions, so I am able to take my usual whirlwind hour-long presentation and expand some sections and give the whole thing a little more depth. I think it’s going to be more valuable for the participants, and I’m excited to be doing something new.
While I was working, I realized that I needed to look up a date for one of my slides, and I started getting all, UGH, I don’t know where I’m going to find that and It’s probably going to take me forever to find and I’m probably not going to be able to find it online and I’ll probably have to wait until I go to the library on Monday to find it.
That’s when I realized that this information is in a book. A book I wrote. A book I wrote that is on a bookshelf right next to my desk. Because I’m an expert and all.
So I looked up the date and moved on with my slides.

Well, occasionally we’re all expert at “Appearing briefly clueless.” I always feel a little smack-my-own-head when I realize I have the answer right in front of me.
I am definitely expert at appearing briefly clueless. Sometimes I do extended runs of appearing clueless.
But then, you know, I also really have my act together and live a good life and accomplish a lot. So it’s all good.
Attagirl.
I’m trying, anyway. Every day, I try.
Every day, you ROCK. We are so excited to have hired you to present these webinars for us, I can’t even tell you. Thank you, thank you!
Thanks, Sophie! I’m really excited about doing them.
