Guys, I Don’t Have a Good Feeling About This

BACA Off!

Read more about the book here. I really like Chris Colfer, but I’m not preordering this for the library. If people start asking for it or it goes bestseller, I’ll buy a copy.

Either that or I’m waiting to see what MotherReader has to say about it.

I was actually a bit relieved when I realized that I wouldn’t get to BEA in time for the book signing because than perhaps I wouldn’t have to you know, read it. And judge it. Because I love the actor, love his character on Glee, and know that he’s little more than a kid at like maybe twentyish. Okay, and it is Little, Brown and I trust them.

But I’m afraid. I’m very afraid.

I’m curious, too. It’s promising at least that the cover doesn’t blare Colfer’s celebrity status.

Pam, I knew you were a fellow Glee fan and would share my not wanting to hate this out of the gate. I also trust Little, Brown, and there is the undeniable fact that if my 10-year-old self had seen this book and read the blurb, I would absolutely have wanted to read it.

Farida, Yes. That is a sign for good, and I read in an interview with Colfer that he was writing–screenplays, as I recall–before he got famous. That has been an interest of his.
