2001: A Space Odyssey
Empire Strikes Back
Moon (which technically happens on a space station, but whatever)
Serenity
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Sunshine
I feel like there must be some I’m forgetting.

How can you forget John Carpenter’s Dark Star?
I don’t know this one, Jim. I’m adding it to my Netflix queue.
I enjoyed all of those save the first one. I think 2001 is the most boring movie I’ve ever seen in my life. I get sleepy just thinking about it.
When Empire Strikes Back first came out I saw it every night for two weeks.
A lot of people feel that way about 2001.
Empire is one of those movies I can kind of recite, I’ve seen it so many times. I think the first time I saw it, my parents brought me to the drive-in.
I took you one afternoon to that theater in Brockport. We probably did see it again at a drive-in.
That couldn’t have been Brockport,it must have been Rome. They had a wonderful drive-in there too.I remember taking you because I didn’t care much for the film.I liked parts though.
I loved the Wrath of Khan – how buff was Ricardo Montalban!
How could you forget the perfectly awful Space Camp with one of my all-time favorite lines: “Whip me, beat me, take away my charge cards… NASA is talking!”???
I saw 2001 when it first came out and wasn’t at all bored…of course, back then smoking was allowed in movie theaters and I suspect the air was particularly herbal that night.
I don’t know Space Camp, either.
Ricardo Montalban was buff.It made the film all that much the easier to watch!
do you know _silent running_? hippie sci-fi with bruce dern…things try to go to hell on a spaceship, but bruce dern doesn’t let them. i cry my sentimental 12yo tears just like the first time every time i watch it.
I haven’t seen this. I’m adding it to My List.
