This reminds me of you and some advice you gave about how coloring was relaxing. I still remember the look on a certain 300 level professor’s face when I pulled out my box of 64 during his lecture and started coloring. BTW most relaxing class ever!
Some things never change. :) Sitting in the Children’s Room at a dinky table with the crayons making this list was completely relaxing and made me feel like of course I could make this web site happen. How could I not? See how pretty this shade of blue is?
You should see what I’m doing to my desk calendar. I have my own date book, so I’m using the desk blotter calendar as scrap paper, for doing sums and writing myself little notes and doodling. I’ll have to post a picture of that next.
We used to have a desk calendar at the circ desk in the old building. You could tell when I was the clerk on duty and it was slow because there would be doodles all over it.
I think doodling is a sign of an active mind. All very positive.
Thanks for commenting at my blog. YOU made ME smile.
You’re welcome! I always enjoy visiting Bildungsroman! (http://slayground.livejournal.com, for those who might not know.)
