Quotable Friday

“When he was done, more than three-quarters of his page still remained to be filled between the gold lion on the crimson shield on top and the blank white shield at the bottom. Ser Gerold Hightower had begun his history, and Ser Barristan Selmy had continued it, but the rest Jaime Lannister would need to write for himself. He could write whatever he chose, henceforth.”
-George R.R. Martin in A Storm of Swords

It is excellent and addictive. I keep telling myself I won’t get involved in these unfinished series, Tanita, but I am weak when it comes to books.

At least I’m not a heroin addict, though. HIGH FIVE!

    Dear Ms A,

Is it going to be quotable Friday forever?

Maybe not FOREVER, but I have been taking a bit of a blogging break. I was thinking of blogging about our new free holds cards for HPL, though, because I love them so much.

I keep rereading this quote that you posted here because I just LOVE it!! It’s so layered and lovely. Off to go find some more good lines in book one in just a few minutes! Yay!

This is one of my favorite passages in the series thus far, I think. I have to do more reading, though!
