Look Who's in the D&C!
They did a profile on Jason for today's Our Towns section. The article is great, but I'm sorry they didn't include interesting things like the fact that he really had over 40 kids in his storytimes the morning the reporter visited (which is typical and, as those of you who do storytime know, a different thing than the 35 the writer reported) and that he's written a children's song of his own, which I fully expect to see on his award-winning children's music CD someday. What wonderful PR for the library, though, and for Jason.
:)

Jason keeps telling me that Webster is much bigger than Hilton and that I shouldn't compare myself to you guys, but GOOD GRIEF! I had two at my story time on Monday.
Tell Jason that I'm very jealous and very proud of him. (Or if you're reading this Jason... grrr. I'm jealous) I'm thinking that maybe I should have shadowed Jason all day! :)

Yay Jason. Has anyone asked for your autograph?

Cathy, I think you did the right thing shadowing me because Jason always says he learned everything he knows from me. Of course, I think he only says that to stay on my good side, which seems to be working for him.
As far as I know, no one's asked for his autograph yet, although people did want to get into his already-full storytime. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks loads Jason. Now Cathy is threatening to learn to play the ukelele for story hours.
