Why Am I So Tired?

Fainting.jpg

There was the long weekend of activity and swooning in North Carolina. (Check out the photographic evidence on my flickr.)

There was the interview with Liz B. at Pop Goes the Library.

And there was the amazingly insightful roundup of my Halloween favorites on the MCLS web site.

Whew! Thank goodness it’s the weekend.

Your interview was awesome! I do believe that the future of libraries depends on us being "techie" no matter how you define it.

Ugh. I did switch the placement of the fainting couch and loveseat after you left, and after seeing these pictures, am relieved that I made the right decision.

I'm not sure why my apartment and office both look so empty in those pictures, though. They are positively bursting with stuff. I guess tidiness gets kind of lost in translation.

You must get someone to take a digital photo of the new arrangement and send it to me. Have you looked at entertainment centers???

But why didn't anyone ask what "Discerning Meat Cleaver" means? Enquiring minds want to know!!!

Ah, that question will please Jason to no end.

The truth is that the other children's librarian I work with (the aforementioned Jason, who, for some reason, uses the alias "Connelly" on the children's department blog) just made up the name off the top of his head one day. We try not to think too hard about where he comes up with these things. And, of course, when he read the interview on Pop, his commentary all had to do with how pleased he was to see the blog title he made up in the headline.
