This weekend I attended a workshop where the instructor used the Darth Vader theme to call us (a group of mostly post-middleaged women) to his table for demos. Fortunately, I had my Millennium Falcon pencil sharpener with me!

I'm at a workshop RIGHT NOW, and it's even for a techie thing, but there has been a sad, sad lack of Star Wars references so far. Maybe after the break....

I'm learning how to create digital audio files, BTW. Some of it's preservation and archiving stuff, which isn't really what we're hoping to do right away, and some of it's a little over my head -- but it's interesting. We'll have to see what we can do with it....

This completely makes my day.
Thanks, Adrienne!

I love it! People in Africa are reading Adrienne's blog! You are completely famous. Now I can say that I really know someone famous. My week is complete.
I need more Star Wars action figures at my desk. All I have are Cookie Monster and Nancy Pearl. Hardly as cool as Darth Vader, but what can you do. I don't have an office and I don't think Sally wants me hanging things from the ceiling.

Wow! I know! I was so excited to see Ruth's comment and that her family's blog linked to me. Jason was likewise happy to know that his Star Wars collection was bringing joy to people far and wide.

And I'm afraid it's looking very like we'll be seeing more of Pinky's evil adventures very soon....
