That is just maybe the coolest photo ever. It's so perfect, the way the bird has that seed balanced in its beak. Amazing. You should submit that to a contest or something.

Thanks, Eisha! I don't want to tell you how many bad photos I had to take to get that shot. Luckily, the trail wasn't crowded and the birds were hungry, so it was the perfect day to go feed them. At one point, I had two on my hand at once. I got a disappointing shot of that:

I wish it wasn't so washed out, but I *love* the look on the bird's face on the right, like, "WTF! WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MY HAND!!!"

So even birds fight over you? What would a chickadee fight be like? I like the pictures of the chipmunk and the little red squirrel.
