The Washington Post
Yes, it's true: the boy's gone national.
Awwwww.

That is truly too cute.
I remember when I was about his age I was in a Niagara Falls newspaper when we went on vacation. My parents bought billions of copies and sent them to everyone we knew...

It was a great moment, too. Tam, Ron, Lucas, Max, and I were all kind of fried from days of crowds, and Jen just had a long and somewhat trying drive to get to DC. The weather was cold but decent, and it was quiet and refreshingly uncrowded in the sculpture garden. Everyone except Ron and Max wrote secret wishes to hang on the tree, and then we spent time reading other people's wishes. It was restful and we were surrounded by art. Nice.

Okay, so why can't I see his picture? I'm sure its great of course! Was one of those wishes Lucas'?

So weird. Now the picture's gone. Good thing Tam ordered a copy....
I didn't ask him what he wished. It seemed intrusive, plus I didn't want to tell anyone what I wished.

Okay I meant hopeful not hope full.

Yet you are full of hope. It must be because you're the one who created the media sensation.

Once again, you have delighted Hannah with Lucas pictures. I kept hearing her say "He's soooooo cute!" Glad to have you back! And I just have to ask--is Jen your sister?

And I thought I was the only one who thinks Lucas is photogenic.

I should be so lucky to have Jen as a sister: she is, however, one of my dearest friends. :)
Jeffrey, I love that picture of Lucas. That boy really is photogenic and, as a bonus, perfect in every way. So is Max. Max smiles pretty much every time he sees me even though I feel like I haven't done much to earn his adoration. I really, really like that about him.
