We all face death.It is a side effect of life.I don't want to sound like Woody Allen here,but now and then I visit my therapist and I say,"You know,along with the cancer,the MS and my serial autoimmune diseases,the thing that really makes me nervous is that blood clot sitting just outside my heart."I tell her,"...that's a hell of a thing to cope with..."I mean,it can be so sudden,and in my family,it is.And I chose to spend a lot of my life caring for dying folks.I remember part of a poem a friend wrote which included a line about the way a tree will take a stone to its side.I've seen trees that have grown their roots right around and over stones.Death is at least predictable.Sort of.In its own fashion.For me,the easiest way to live is to live and leave the rest to itself.Yet,who doesn't love to drive their therapist crazy?Its a mystery wrapped in an enigma;)Gosh I'm tired,But not quite ready to sleep.Oral surgery,up and down on both sides hurts!I guess its time for me to take a pain pill and one to sleep.Soon.Its the next thing I'll do after I can't think of one other thing I'd rather do--actually,the pain is saying I should sleep.Your entry brought out this outpouring my little one.I hope you are resting as it is 1 AM and that your lovely mind is filled with very sweet dreams.Love,mom

LOVED this book! It was my first read of 2008 and I may have to re-read it every month!
