The Internet Ate My Brain!

My friends are always sending me links to truly wonderful zombie-related items on the Internet. Today, I share:

The Zombie Food Pyramid via Chuck
As you will soon see, Chuck is my most frequent and reliable provider of zombie-related material. I believe this is because he spends a lot of time on the Internet (I should talk), but I also believe it is because he has a good sense of humor.

The Lawn Zombie via Chuck
When I first saw this, I was like, "OMIGOD I NEED ONE OF THOSE!!!" Then I remembered how I freak the neighbors out enough already. Plus there are probably a lot of other things I should be doing with $89.95 + S&H. But still.

The Zombie Quiz via Chuck
Chuck sent this *weeks* ago, but I just did the quiz today. I wish I had written down my score, but the commentary said something like that not even a nuclear holocaust was going to get me off this earth. RAH! Warning: The quiz is long. Second Warning: I fully expect you to take it and post your score.

Toronto Encourages Tourism through Zombie Comics via Olivia
Olivia found this when she was researching her recent trip to Toronto, and she still went. Go, Olivia!

Zombie Slayves so Hard to Steer via Olivia
Then again, maybe Olivia doesn't take zombiez seriousli enough.

Zombie Cards via Sara
Let all your loved ones know that you're glad they aren't zombies because if they *were* zombies, well....

Have you ever played Zombie Fluxx? We use it at some of the teen programs here, although it could be too violent for some communities. It's best played with kids who already know how to play regular Fluxx, although they would really only need a few hands of Fluxx to catch on.

NO! I didn't know about that, but now that I do I am obviously going to have to run out and buy it. Fluxx is a favorite of mine for times when you want to play SOMETHING, but you also want to talk to your friends and don't want to think too terribly hard. Zombie Fluxx will, for me, be that times four.

I'll be severely disappointed if someone I know doesn't go to this at some point:

Zombie Quiz results: Physical - C; Mental - D; Experience - F; Emotional - D; Survival Rank - B.

I don't get how I could score so low in so many areas and yet still end up with a B ranking.

Looking at the "correct" answers, there's a little too much subjectivity in many of them. It depends largely on which zombie movie franchise you most closely adhere to. For instance, the question about whether zombies shuffle and moan or run and scream when they see prey could be very different if you've only seen Dawn of the Dead or 28 Days Later.

I'm just sayin...

Overall score Z+, it would take a nuclear holocaust ..., I don't remember the individual scores but it was the thinking not the physical part that saved me.

I figured that if we saw any zombies in Toronto, we could take pictures for you to add to your already vast storehouse of zombie material. :)

Besides, Toronto is an all-around cool city!

Ah, I love the way zombies bring out the comments. (Of course, flat-out demanding comments helps, too.)
