Want to Balance Out Pinkalicious, Purplicious, Goldilicious, and Whatever Colorilicious Is Next in Your Library Collection?

I found this via one of Booklist's series roundup issues. Love those things.

Book mentioned:
Goldish, Meish. Bug-a-licious. NY: Bearport Publishing Company, 2009. (HC: 9781597167574)

Awesome! Not just bugs, but bugs you eat!! Take that, all you pink-n-purple girl books! Yay!

Momster and I discussed this important issue on the phone, and, for the record, she said she wouldn't touch that book.

Xandi, I predict this book will not be spending much time sitting around on the shelf. I am now resisting the urge to make a crack about the Pony-Crazed Princess.

Oh, disturbing. DISTURBING.
But, people do eat those little red bugs in Odwalla drinks, and hey, we eat bee spit, so why not Bug-A-Licious!?

Sometimes I think about how I probably inadvertently eat the occasional bug in my produce, but then I try to push it out of my mind. Look away! Look away!

All I have to say is: I would not exactly ever ever be an entomologist, but sometimes one *does* need an antidote to the -Licious books.

You know, I don't really like looking at these kinds of books myself, but I take great pleasure in adding them to the collection for those who do.

Pony-crazed-Princesses was all your idea...just because I am pony crazed doesn't mean that there should be royalty and accessories! Cha!

I love how that series ALWAYS gets a reaction out of you. It's like me and the Madonna books.
