A coin spinner? I think you should have tried scanning in that drawing!

Put a whisper sign by the lamp.
Oh, mercy. The specificity.
The lovely, light blue specificity....

If only you had consulted the kid with all the decorating ideas...now you will have to re-pant the whole place!

I'll happily donate my scanner to you if it means that the illustrations can make it into the entries. Of course, we'd probably be violating some kind of copyright law...

Heidi, It is illuminating.
Liz, We have just this weekend been repainting the Children's Room two different shades of blue, neither of them particularly dark, so this kid's going to be irritated.
Xandi, Seriously, right? Wait until you see it all repainted, though. It looks AWESOME.
Jeffrey, For some reason, scanning their pictures seems like a violation to me, although typing up their ideas word-for-word seems perfectly okay.

I think the Danielsons need a supperhero, too, who can come to our home and whip up dinners when we're all tuckered out. The child who wrote that is BRILLIANT.

I'd make a good supperhero.

Adrienne & Jason - the re-paint IS awesome! Supperhero should have a sidekick like Dishdog...a genetically engineered stray with opposable thumbs who can do all sorts of stuff, including wash dishes...or Captain Huggyface.

Thanks! I hope you had a good day on Sunday--I know your fans were counting the days until you worked. :)
Dishdog made me LAUGH OUT LOUD, and now I have to go watch some WordGirl videos... I mean, read book reviews. Yeah. Book reviews.
